ZEUS

Zeus is definitely our "soul mate" and a one-in-a-million dog. He is our first border collie and he completely changed our lives.  

He's not only 100% border collie, but above all an extraordinary character. Angel with freckles in dog skin, that's why he easily steals the heart of everyone who gets to know him. And his eyes with almost human sight can't be missed.​

Zeus was born in a Polish kennel from the combination of a beautiful male Dealer, imported from the Australian kennel Nahrof, and a gentle and pretty Alfa from Locheil lines. Zeus came to this world in very exceptional circumstances - not only by A.I. but also aas a singleton pup.

He started his show career with great success - already at the age of 9 months he made his debut in the junior class and won the title of Best of Breed. His debut as an adult - in intermediate class ended with winning not only the breed but also Best of Group FCI 1. At the age of 2.5 years, he was already Interchampion, Polish Winner, Champion of Champions winner, and Show Champion of 4 European countries. The judges appreciate his strong and balanced structure, classic type, and typical sound movement with correct tail and head carriage.

Even as a puppy, he was an extremely balanced dog. He grew up to be a strong male, intelligent, smart, and gentle. Always friendly to the whole world, but he doesn't need anyone else but us to be happy. Thanks to this, at work he shows an amazing "will to please", he is always maximally oriented on the owner and goal. Our approval works best as his motivation, then he likes to work for treats and play with toys. He has a great, natural on/off mode - easy to rest, and at the same time, always ready for work or play. He is self-confident, completely without any aggressive features, and in relation to other males he is never dominant. Zeus loves children and always acts patiently and very gently around them. He likes hugging a lot and in daily life, he faithfully follows us everywhere. Thanks to his balanced character, he works great and finds himself in all distractions, and new situations.

Two of Zeus' favorite activities are tricks and mantrailing. He loves learning new things, and repeating those already known. But he likes challenges too and never gets frustrated with failure. He has played in two TV commercials. Mantrailing is his second source of energy. He passed three exams PLMT0, PLMT1, PLMT2. He has an inborn fetch, which he gives back directly to the hand. He passed two state obedience exams  - PT1 and PT2. We tried agility for fun, at the amateur level, where we discovered his very nice natural jumping technique. Zeus also has a herding instinct.
